Listening to The Voice as usual...currently: "The Edge of Glory" by Lady Gaga.

I love this, have you heard it acoustic? She does it on the piano at Radio 1's Big Weekend, it's pretty immense. :)

Ugh I love that performance. I understand everyone has different tastes in music, but it bugs me when people dismiss her as a no-talent hack. :p

Anyway, listening to: Mika - Blame It On The Girls

I'm currently listening to the new album from the Baseballs a lot. It's called "Strings 'n striped".

For you who don't know the band, they mostly cover (populair) songs in a rock 'n roll fashion. They also have a couple of numbers of their own, but their main attraction is their covers.

The songs I like best at the moment include the cover of Nathalie Imbruglia's "Torn" and Kei$ha's "Tick Tok". The first one being a more sensitive, slow song and the second one very upbeat.

I don't believe we associate 'everything' with a song, but certainly love would find its way, unless you don't like music at all.

For what you're listening to right now, you should bring it over here. =3

I certainly associate events with songs I hear playing at the time they happen or when I recognize a feeling or event in the lyrics of a song.

For example, the song that was played when I got my first kiss or the song that was played when I got my earrings still reminds me of that.

But I also have songs that remind me of smaller, seemingly less important things. My memories easily cling to songs.

Language and music share some parts of the brain. It is said that music can help people with a lot of things (therapeutically) and hypothetically It should also help with learning language. That's why it's easier to remember things when you rhyme or put it to a rhythm. Next time your exams are coming up, make some song parody's and you'll be fine

Yeah, I associate music with certain songs too.

Also, if I listen to a song without a Lost or Harry Potter music video on youtube I might not like the song as much. Thats happened a few times and I'll be like 'hey I didn't like this song before without the video part'.

Guys, I have to admit something. I am not actually listening to anything right now and haven't done for about 2 weeks as I have been extremely busy.
