WMV Previews and SIMBLE Agent? [Mac]

I have two small questions for those of you who use a Mac. First off, I have Perian installed and for some reason I can't get Previews to show on the .wmv files. If I remove Perian and just use VLC I don't get any video previews at all. So unfortunetly I need to keep Perian, but for some reason I just can't get it to add previews to the .wmv files. Just wondered if someone knew how to force Perian to add them or another way of adding them.

Secondly, something has appeared in my login items section of the preference pane, something called 'SIMBL Agent'. The path doesn't give any indication of what it is:



Just wondering if someone could help me out please? I'd be very greatful
