Well, it was clear the last week that a handful of users have received no email, and others received everything instantly, but that many received it with a delay.
Any account still waiting email confirmation has been manually reviewed and approved. If you still get the email, but you are no longer getting the orange notice 'please confirm the account', then you can just ignore that email.
