SO I was thinking about knitting!!!!

I don't know. I need something I enjoy obviously and something that is rewarding. I need to make something but nothing too messy or expensive.

I should get my sister on here, she's got into knitting not only to have a hobby and a distraction, but because it helped her with using her micro muscles in her hands which she needs to do. It's calming and cool. You have unique gifts for people and all that stuff.

Well, this settles it: You have to make us a OMGboards.com blanket :D

I'm knitting a scarf, I'm not very good at using needles to knit, but I can do it using a loom, find it quick and easy and you can have different patterns on it too.

No, I like my hobbies to be tech free, I find that I spend too much time in front of a screen as it is without adding games and other things into it.

Fair enough, what about something that might require working with your hands, that requires research. So it's a learning process as well as ending up with a physical result that you can show people?

That's why I knit, and occasionally make candles or cross stitch or make cards.

I recently picked up the new hobby of cleaning my home. I feel so great having empty space and shiny surfaces. But yes, I wish I had a real hobby.

I think with hobbies it's easier if you have someone that already does it or is willing to learn with you.

My friend had boy/girl twins, I did think about doing a more gender neutral card but I had the owls so went with pink and blue instead.

Knitting is more of a winter hobby, maybe you should start doing that now!
