I bought an Apple

I bought a 15 inch Macbook Pro (The 2.2 GHz Model) and I bought it at the price of the 2.0 GHz Model

I won't receive it yet, but when it gets here I'll be very happy
Any tips, programs or any other Mac stuff I should know off to install on my new Macbook?

I won't drop my Windows 7 yet though :P

Well, I'm getting a discount thanks to my mom's job. I will not see this discount any time soon again so I can't buy the one that's coming out later this year
Else I'd wait but I gotta buy before Sept. 30th

I could also have the best Macbook Air with a discount but well it's just not what I'm looking for

@Floris or any other Mac user: Do you run an AntiVirus?

Nope.

Once a year I install something (NOTOOOOOTTTT macdefender) and let it run. It never finds anything on any of my mac systems. And then I uninstall it again.

I simply don't accept email from people I don't know - or from known people who I didn't ask to mail me weird links. And I don't click on links I don't know if I can trust the source from.

I use a mac at work and it is ok. Get Chrome for sure. I use entourage for mail. Remote desktop connection for VPN to get windows on my mac. Photoshop. Don't use it for much fun stuff.

No really, surprisingly so. Didn't think i'd like it so much.

As for Mac, i have no idea. Never owned one. Was always afraid of them.

Then my best friend said they are very easy and intuitive to use, just like Ubuntu.

Very user friendly, almost no learning curve. That's really what was holding me back before.

Well that and price, but if money were available, for sure i'd upgrade to Mac.

Yeah it's happy news to me too. Then again, pretty much anything about MAC is news to me as i don't have one and have never owned one. But my best friend owns a Mac, i could ask him what the Minecraft Mac experience is like. One of his friends owns a private Minecraft server and they game on that a lot. They have not yet invited me into the clubhouse.
