The boring thread of: I have to really clean a few things (part 5)

I made a first step towards sorting my closet in the bedroom. A big step. Haha. Got all anxious about it for a moment

Anyway. One square section done

Things that are broken and can get thrown out. Thrown out

What is fine but wont fit unless i cut off 50% body. Will give away to fam or charity

And what fits. Goes back in

And what basically fits but need repair. Is getting washed now. Will put that in a bag and drop it off in the coming days at the local repair place

And i found some old towels and cloths etc. Will anti allergy wash them. And see what ends up clean and not. And keep for wiping windows. Wood. Balcony. Etc. So i dont have to use the good stuff

Things that are fine but kinda fit. But i need to lose a bit of weight to have it be comfortable again. Keeping those

Ive decided what i use goes to the right side. And the rest to the left

Anyway

Step 1 taken

5939292 more steps. But i made a start

Mental block overcome

- washed some clothes

- dryer is just finished

- next will be some old towels and stuff that need to get washed on high temps

- dishes: pots and pans have been cleaned on the daily
- dishes: some bigger tools like chef knives etc have been done

There's still so much to do again.

- Threw away empty boxes
- Organized fridge

- Gathered up trash and threw it out

- Tidied bedroom again
- Moved boxes out of the room with the heater to other rooms, as it has to be empty for another appointment (getting pissy about it now)

- Cleaned the sink in the bathroom and the toilet.
- Finished building a thing in the bathroom, putting in the last few shelves.

- dishes: 50% of the glasses are done now.

 

[Nix]

In eed to go on a mission soon but need to sort Abbs out at doc first.

- ordered groceries
- caught up on some sleep
- cleaned bathroom floor
- reviewed bathroom stock, im running low perhaps.
- did some finance/admin work
- gathered up trash, and threw it out

 

[Joan]

Got a week to get things cleaned.

Took out a lot of the rubbish yesterday, but today I have to make a bigger dent in it.

 

[Floris]

- cups, mugs, glasses, and all that stuff done.

- pots and pans all done.

- all plates done.

forks/knives left ~ giving them a soak..


- the smart meter didn't get installed, they yet again figured out they dotn have electricity and whatever.

- trash from today collected, including dead plant stuff. and thrown it out

- cleaned coffee pot

- made an attempt at the overgrown plant that's getting huge leaves, to remove dead and yellow old leaves.

ordered new monitor for Abbs
ordered new slippers for Abbs
ordered cat litter for the little shytes!
odered food for tomorrow delivery
had multiple coffees and chats

I ordered cat litter, I get it cheaper in bulk on ebay usually, I wasn't in, so my downstairs neighbour took it in, only for her cats to attack the bag, we both then had cat litter everywhere as the put a hole in the bag!

 

[Floris]

no cat litter ordered here, i dont have a cat

 

[Nix]

I still have to sort that ebay monitor out. I'm hoping to post it today but that depends on a friend and the post office.
Still have washing up to do and must get the rubbish and food waste out today as it's bin day tomorrow.

i haven't done anything in the apartment today, tomorrow again!

 

[Floris]

- bathroom sink cleaned
- shower .. drain? .. cleaned
- toilet floor cleaned

- tidied kitchen a little bit
- threw trash out
- threw empty box out

- cleaned britta filters, and replaced the filter, cleaned inside and out

- cleaned coffee pots, they were all getting stains and whatever.

 

[Joan]

OK need to plan this:

Bathroom: needs a wipe over and floor needs a clean.

Bedroom: low priority before birthday, must be done before trip away

Kitchen: high priority, no cooking to be done before birthday so I can get it cleaned.

Living room: high priority, will sort sofa out after work

 

[Joan]

Sofa is 95% done, throw is in the machine as well, just need to remove the collection of jumpers on the back of it!

I took a load of rubbish out, and have been collecting up the recycling.

I doubt I'll do anything tomorrow as I'm at work for 8:15! Might just try and get a bit of washing up done after work.

 

[Floris]

- semi cleaned the stove, felt muscle in back about to go BOOM, so I stopped.

- had a nicer hot shower. cleaned the shiny chrome stuff a bit and the glass

- gathered up stuff for laundry, but there's not yet enough to justify running it

 

[Joan]

I'm feeling slightly less pressure now I've arranged to go out with dad for lunch and mum in the evening, so less likely they will turn up. Still need to get everything cleaned though before I go away and the cat sitter comes over

It's warm in the apartment, I am up again. it's night.. perfect time to do dishes..

sometimes I wish we could just hose down a kitchen

Today's plan:

Put washing machine on
Clear and vacuum floor
Get as much as I can done in kitchen

Just need to finish the floor and put the rug down.
Then I have to start on the kitchen
