Living room done, well as done as it's going to get, I do need to figure out better shoe storage than what I have but that's for another day. I've also done the washing up that I had from breakfast and lunch.

Tomorrow I tackle the bathroom.

The kitchen now looks like there is hope. I threw trash out and checked for mail. I tried doing more mc stuff but just getting frustrated. I am going to chill, shower, watch tv, sleep, and ill see tonight what's up. Tomorrow another batch of groceries will arrive in the afternoon. I rather get stuff now before the eextreme snow weather they announced today for the weekend. So I dont have to risk falling on flippery ice road next week

Friday, here we are. The first five days of this month. What a hell..

The kitchen looks slightly better, it feels it's possible to make progress, the same with the livingroom.

But I need to get to the one storage room I have in my apartment. So I just have to continue.

The bathroom didn't get done, that's still on the list, however I have put the pile of clothes away, vacuumed throughout, most of the washing up is done, just got an oven dish and chopping boards left. Bedding changed, done two loads of laundry, now drying on the airers.

Overall happy with todays progress, tomorrow is the bathroom.

The real life stress and depression got me. I didn't do much more than I could handle. It's a mess again and I try to do little things but still fall behind.

I wish I had someone in my life offline here that lived with me for support, ngl.

But I am trying to realise I am privileged and have the opportunity to make the most of it. I am getting away with stuff I don't have to do. So I should in return be there for myself a bit more, because I want to be there for others again too.

Today I am going to make those steps again.

Today's plan is the bathroom, I haven't got any drain unblocker though, so won't be doing that, but I will give everything a clean. Other than that it's keeping on top of the washing up, more laundry and sorting out the mass of scarves, hats an gloves I have.

Done the sofa, trying to do that each day, also made the bed this morning, going to try and remember to do that everyday too.

Each time I get mine unclogged and cleaned, it doesn't take long for it to flow away slowly again. I am pretty sure the problem lies deeper than I can deal with on my own. I am ready to go into space and find an ALIEN creature and drip their material burning acid down the pipe.

My problem is my hair, if I shaved it all off I'm sure it would flow a lot better!

Same here, I dunno who keeps making it dirty, but HERE WE GO AGAIN haha.

I have have have to make space in my apartment for my parents' their stuff. My mom's in her new home and it's time to clear out things from the farm. This means things go my way and I Need to figure out where to store them in my flat (gulp).

It also means people will come with me to help me carry stuff, so it also needs to be clean and presentable.

I am not ready for this. lol

@Nix how are we doing over there in the UK?

Okay, lets think out loud..

I have a dishwasher that's done. This means I can empty it and have space to slowly fill it up as I clean the kitchen.

I have nothing in my washing machine, so I can throw dirty clothes in there and run it when it's full. While I am cleaning the apartment.

The bedroom is tidy, I just need to vacuum the floor real quick and I am done with it. I might as well do that for peace of mind.

I will ignore the bathroom and toilet room for now. I will come back to that.

I have a small storage room that is getting full, but there's still space for boxes.

Which reminds me, I have boxes in the living room that are now empty and need to be thrown out. BUT, I also had some tools from my dad lying around now. I can put those in those boxes and those boxes in that little storage room. That way THAT cleans things up and deals with 2 things at once.

I need to vacuum the living room, I might do this in 2 parts. I begin where those boxes were and the kitchen area quick. Then start on the kitchen.

The weather is better, there's no really terribly cold wind and no snow now, so I can air out the apartment right now while it's midday and the sun is still warm. So vacuum seems to take precedence.

Ignoring everything else, this is already enough to do. Let's open the doors, vacuum, and then go through this list and revisit what's left over or whatever I can add to it. Back in hour or whatever.

Little in between update:

- The tools from my father fit in 2 small boxes, they are in the that little storage room. I've moved other boxes around like tetris, so there's more to 'stack' and easier to just pile on more things this month.

- The corner with boxes is cut down a bit, and I saw some stuff is trashable and the rest were bags, so I will start by putting all the bags into each other and then put those into a bigger box. And then trash the rest. That should clear out that corner and still gives me access to those bags for when I need to go to the farm and pick up more stuff.

- The floor in the bedroom is vacuumed, the doors have been open to air it out (brrr cold).

- In the living room I have pushed stuff aside. And vacuumed the corners the best I could and the big empty area. And most of the kitchen.

- The hallway is also done. It's cleaned out and there's room for storage there too. So I will have a- small storage, b- small hallway, and c- living room, and from there I can figure out what really goes where. But right now people can just follow me inside, and I can go 'jump plonk it there'.

- My back already needs a break, I hate being old. haha. So I am resting my eyes, head and back, closing the doors again so I don't freeze to death and pray I did not pick up a cold I guess.

- Next: Is to go through the above post and figure out what's next. I think it will be laundy, dishes, and collecting trash. That way visually it's 'not that bad'.

Back later

Hey nix is back in the thread. Good to see you. Now we just need Paprikaatje and the rest of the world.

Let's both do the kitchen and the washing, and see if we can at least make a start? My break is over, I am going to do this right now!

Mini update:

I couldn't get much done, my mom called and this was something she needed, so i spend an hour talking to her.

I hung up the laundry that finished and i started cleaning the sink area (40% done).

Time to get up and pick up my today's todo list and keep at it before i am emotionally drained and my back complaints too much.

Mini update again:

- Laundry hung to dry

- Did a tiny bit of extra tidying up in the bathroom

- Bedroom is okay now

- Mini hallway 1 is done

- Other hallway is done

- Most of the kitchen is done now, just the stove needs a scrub (i can do that after dinner tonight or tomorrow)

- computer table needs to get tidied, but the crap is off of it at least.

- charging my devices

- corner with boxes and what not are sorted

- living room needs to get tidied, it's just 'everywhere' but manageable.

- the sink itself stinks, all the dirt collected and soaked, so i need to scrub that after dinner i guess

- i am still finding christmas things, but no place to put it, ARGH lol

- Almost have enough trash for the second bag to be full so i can put the trash out at some point - i still need to go to the grocery store for something, so i can pick up that flyer, buy a card, buy some food things, and then firs tthrow the trash out, get the mail, throw a box out etc.

- i have some clothes lying around i still need to move into the bedroom closet i guess

- it's been a year and the lava plant didn't survive winter, pout. i was hoping it's make a full year with it. thankfully the other plants did, for the FIRST time in my life: 12 months! Emily gave me 2 more new plants for the kitchen, so that's awesome. can't wait to add more, but i have to be honest: probably will add some fake ones too (see amazon wish list haha)

- todo: toilet room, i need to scrub it in case visitors go ' i rly have to go' and i can't say no LOL

- eh, getting a call, just submitting this .. lol sorry

I better skip breakfast, make coffee after cleaning the kitchen and going through some basics. Let's make a start.

@Nix had a good one: fridge cleaning! I will add it to my list for March.
