Milestone #2 .. the bedroom
I have finally got the bedroom taken care of to the point that I am content with it. This was the plan for last December, so I worked hard this year to make little changes here and there so I wouldn't get to that point this December. and here we are.
The wall still needs to get done, it still needs to become more cosy, but.. it's less dirty, less dusty, less messy, and the stuff from inheritance is now removed, the bed can be moved around again a bit, and the floor has been taken care off. The curtains have less spider webs, the windows have been done inside and out.
There's still looooads to be done, but it's not a "omg I hope nobody sees the state of it" This gives me hope to keep working on it to get it by next year's December to that idea I have for it in my head.
There's still some stuff from the inheritance in and on the closet, but it's out of the way. Next step is to free up space in the other rooms by doing those todo items in 2023, and then moving the stuff from the bedroom to those rooms.
But all high priority things that impact health and mental health, are now checked off from the list. And that feels good.
And yes, that's a victory for me, with this body, these eyes, this mental crap behind it. Hence why it's a milestone.
So thanks again joan and nix for the indirect and direct motivation to keep doing better, it is clearly helping.
