The boring thread of: I have to really clean a few things (part 6)

Kitchen has to be finished Sunday night so Monday I can focus on living room and bedroom

90% cups and glasses

Finish kitchen, finish living room, finish bedroom and clean bathroom. Not much right!!

 

[Joan]

Cruise is in 3 weeks!! Want to deep clean the flat as much as possible in that time.

Did a load of washing and started on the kitchen. Need to clean out cutlery drawer.

I need to empty out the mini storage room for the annual maintenance check. It's currently 50% empty, which should be enough for them to access the area. This year's preparation has been the easiest in several years, if not more, reflecting on previous experiences.

It feels good that it was so much easier to prepare, and that I didn't have to stress about cleaning the apartment. I am glad I have been able to up-keep what I have started some years ago to help me try and improve my life.

Gave the floor in the toilet a good scrub, soak, and rinse, and cleaned the floor in the hallway a bit, and threw laundry in the washing machine. Did a few dishes

The mini storage room where the heater is was cleaned and emptied for 80%
They came today, I am done for another year I guess, so I can start moving boxes back inside and make space in the livingroom again.
I also cleaned the sink and thank god, because they needed to check the water pressure etc.

 

[Floris]

I just cleaned my sink. I emptied it, threw some cleaning solution in there, scrubbed, rinsed, used some other cleaning chemicals, filled it up, let it drain, and rinsed it out. It's much better than before. I also gathered up the trash and bought more trash bags.

started a laundry, waiting for it to finish so I can throw it in the dryer

I have some plates left to wash, but I've finished most of the dishes. I also did some laundry, and it's clean and out of the dryer now. After that, I went shopping for some medicine and took a casual bike ride. I cleaned the bike a little bit too. I took out the trash, and now I'm taking a break.

11:45 update

Started on washing up

Did load of washing
Went to aldi

Ok still got the bathroom to do, and clothes to put away plus kitchen isn't finished.

However the majority is now done, and I can get the rest done around work.

Clothes washing is on... still got lots today but pacing is the key today!

 

[Joan]

Clothes got put away, bedroom is mostly done now, just a quick tidy up, empty bins etc to do.

Need to finish the kitchen, and use up various food bits.

Living room just needs a tidy, but is almost done.

 

[Floris]

Worked really hard to get the kitchen clean yesterday. it's already a mess

 

[Joan]

Got about 24 hours before I leave and I'm working today, so must get everything sorted tonight.

Kitchen is still a work in progress.

Bathroom will be finished after I've showered tonight.

I'll take recycling out on my way to work this morning and rubbish out tomorrow morning before I go.

Done a few bits, cleaned out gutters at front doorway, some washing, some housework but nothing major.
